Charolette "Sue" Brumley

Charolette "Sue" Brumley passed from this life on August 7, 2021 in Oklahoma City. She was born in Buckhannon, WV., on September 21, 1944 to William and Zella (White) Ayers. Sue had called Antlers home for over 37 years. She had many talents that also helped keep her busy, such as sewing, making floral arrangements, and working puzzles. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and rocking her beloved dog Sassie. Sue is preceded in death by her parents: William and Zella Ayers; husband: Joe Brumley; and sister: Scottie Wallace. She is survived by her partner: Charles Barriger of the home; children: Robin Vargas of Antlers, and Michelle Van Meter of Antlers; sister: C. Ann Perry and husband Walt of Texas; grandchildren: Christopher Vargas, Khenjha Vargas, Brittany Weakley, Cameron Weakley, and Destanie Weakley; great-grandchildren: Leandra Vargas, Xaviant Vargas, Jordan Vargas, Jaycelynn Vargas, Jaidance Vargas, Rowan Austin, Keighton, Korbin, Rao, and Roman; nieces and nephews: Ginger Corona, Matthew Perry, Sallie Hartsell, Annette Rawls, and Shawn Wallace. Family night will take place on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service with Brent Franks officiating. Honorary pallbearers include: Curt Ingram, Cameron Ingram, Kyle Ingram, Christopher Vargas, Cameron Weakley, and Shannon Van Meter. Services have been entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers, Oklahoma.
