You will truly be missed Mr. Billue.
From the first day I met Mr. Billue I knew I was in for a ride. He only introduced himself as "Avys" never telling me that he was actually THE CEO. His country wit, his wisdom and his passion for those we worked with was always available and present. Mr. Billue led by example. Never ask your staff to do something you wouldn't be willing to do. Mr. Billue stayed in the trenches with us never thinking that he was too good to do anything. He could put the good country boy charm on but he was a true business man and usually walked away with the contract. I always watched him to learn even though he didn't know he was teaching. Even if we didn't always agree, there was always mutual respect. Thank you Mr. Billue for being you. Rest well.

Even during this sad time, I can't help but to think of Avys and smile. I worked with Avys for number of years - he could be tough, his expectations high, and we did not always agree, but his compassion for others was second to none. He built a real "family" of people at work that I treasure to this day. I never felt like I was working with Avys at the helm nor when he passed the torch to Sheila Thomas following his retirement.
Avys wandered all the backroads of Georgia, taking many of us in tow - never meeting a stranger and sharing the funniest stories. He loved his family dearly and was so proud of his children.
Ayys was a very special person and touched the lives of so many. I feel blessed to have been but a small part of a life fully lived.

Avys was a good friend through the years. A quality individual his family and friends will cherish the memory.
