Buck Collins Obituary
Buck was born in Sylvania, Georgia. He served in the U.S. Army and was a homebuilder for over 40 years in Henry County, Georgia before retiring to Augusta, Georgia.
Family members in addition to his wife include his children: Trina M. Williams (Michael) and Buck Collins, Jr.; grandchildren: Austin (Abbey) Reading, Reese Williams, Lauren (Jonathan) Stephens, Taeghan (Josh) Stowe, Rielyn Gibson and Larkin Gibson; great grandchildren: Rhett, Emersyn, Aria, Jaicee and McKinley; mother: Cassie Collins; siblings: Peggy Kobes, Grace Eaton, Ginny Cobb, Patsy Blackwell (Garland), Marie Williamson (Mike), Chip Collins (Vicki), and Sara Cowell (Eddie) several nieces and nephews and mother of his children: LaJoy Collins. Buck was preceded in death by his father Toby Collins.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. David McKinley officiating. Interment will be at a later date out of town.
