C. Ryan Paquette

1980 - 2024

Cameron "Ryan" Paquette was born on August 11, 1980 in Augusta, Ga. He spent his life in the Augusta, Ga area. He was a 1999 graduate of Greenbrier High School where he was a star football and baseball player for the Greenbrier Wolfpack. He was the founder of Tile Pro, a successful tile installation company that has grown into one of the largest in the southeast. His proudest sports memories were his 101 yard kickoff return for a touchdown against Westside and his homerun that helped capture the 1999 baseball state championship. Ryan loved and respected the mentoring Coach Terry Holder taught him.

Ryan was a loving and very devoted father to his 5 children: Wynsor, Payne, Pystol, Potter and Rymington. He loved being in the woods hunting, the river hunting hogs and rock climbing in his buggy. He won a hog hunting National Championship in Texas. Ryan was always surrounded by his many friends that were with him during his adventures. He wanted the best in everything and for everybody in his life.

He is proceeded in his death by his beloved father Tommy "Porky" Paquette. He is survived by his mother Debbie Dykes Paquette and his brothers Patrick (Traci) and Brandon. He was a loving uncle to Zach, Brantley, Samuel, Walker, Tristen, Erin Taylor and Blakely Kate.

Ryan was a true warrior his whole life, but the battle against his heart was the one that defeated him. Our family is at peace knowing Ryan gave his life to the Lord and is resting peacefully in God's arms.

A funeral service will be held Monday, February 19, 2024 in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors at 3:00 P.M. The family will recieve friends Monday from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
