Deborah Ventura-Bradley Obituary
It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the death of Deborah Dawn Ventura-Bradley of Augusta, Georgia. She passed away on September 15, 2025. Ms. Ventura was a devoted mother to three children, Eric (31), Casey (29), and Jacob (15) and a grandmother to four grandchildren all below the age of ten.
Born to Denise Ventura and Samuel Ventura in Miami, Florida and a middle child of three sisters, Rachael, Deborah and Samantha. Deborah grew up with troubles much like many people, but the love her parents instilled into her spread to every single person that encountered her. So much so, that she would spend 20 minutes in a grocery store with a stranger and walk out with a friend on a regular occasion. This even extended to her children's friends growing up, some of which are still in their lives and mourn her just the same.
A single mother for most of her children's lives, Deborah faced many struggles that she always managed to overcome. However, she did not do this alone. From friends to family, her circle of support was ready and willing to ensure she and her children had what they needed. A massive amount of this support and love came from her mother Denise and her Step Father Bob. Even Eric acknowledges Bob as playing a massive role in his life as a male figure, teaching him many things that aided him in caring for his mother and leading his own life over the years.
Deborah was a certified nail tech and an uncertified doctor in the sense that she always had a remedy for whatever ailed her or her children. Having worked for Broward County Schools for many years, she also possessed an extensive knowledge of their processes, which helped her and everyone around her maneuver the school system and get the most out of their children's education. Another massive source of pride for her and the rest of her family through her last few years with us was her sobriety and her house in Augusta, Georgia. She maintained her sobriety faithfully for almost two years, up to the day of her passing, and her house was her pride and joy. From the house itself to the neighbors, she loved everything about being a homeowner, speaking of plans with her eldest son to have small events with the neighbors such as barbeques and even a Stranger Things Season 5: Volume One premier party in the home she adored. The show meant a lot to her and Jacob, becoming a source of bonding for the two of them over the years of the show.
With her three children, Deborah developed many personal bonds and a bond shared between them. She and Eric bonded mostly over Twilight movies, specifically the music. They would debate over the Team Edward and Team Jacob argument or blast the music from the movies they liked such as Supermassive Black Hole. With Casey, an infatuation with Dean from the show Supernatural emerged. They would almost compete in who could find the best memorabilia from the show, with Casey arguably winning after meeting the actors for Sam and Dean from the show at a convention. As stated before, Jacob and his mother shared a deep fondness for the show Stranger Things. They would make every attempt to get Eric to watch it, despite his constant expression that he would not. However, one thing Deborah and her children all shared was a love for almost anything Disney related. They would play Scene-It the Disney edition, and play classic Disney music, singing every word at the top of their lungs.
Most of all, Deborah was a devout Christian, placing her faith in God and Jesus every single day. Because of this, we her family take great solace in knowing she is with him, watching and waiting for us to join her. And on behalf of our entire family, I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to read this and mourn with us, including all our friends that support us in this dire time, showing us with the same love Deborah would have shown them.
