Gerald Chow Obituary
The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Augusta Storey Chapel, 3500 Walton Way Ext, Augusta, Ga 30901 at 10am on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. The funeral service will begin at 11am, with Dr. Will Dyers officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Wong Chow of Evans, GA; brother Edward Chow of El Cerrito, CA; sisters-in-law Judith Loo of Lilburn, GA and Karen Reece of Martinez, GA; brothers-in-law Stephen Wong of Evans, GA, Kenneth Wong of Deland, FL, and James Wong of Martinez, GA; nieces Pamela Kashiwabara of San Francisco, CA, Beverly Chow of El Cerrito, CA, Gwen Wong (Scott) of Canton, GA, and Jennifer Farrar (Bryan) of Peachtree Corners, GA; nephews Stanley Wong (Amy) of Correll, TX, Jonathan Wong (Uther) of Plano, TX, Alan Loo (Jessica) of Lilburn, GA; cousin Frank Lee (Brenda) of Clarks Hill, SC; and 10 great nieces and nephews.
Gerald was preceded in death by his grandparents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Jung Yuck Chow; his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. K.J. Chow; sister Jane Wong; and niece's husband Glen Kashiwabara.
If so desired, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Augusta, 3500 Walton Way Ext Augusta, GA 30909, or the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association, 548 Walker St Augusta, GA 30901.

I am saddened to learn of Gerald´s passing. He will be missed by all those who knew him. I worked with Gerald at the Atlanta VA Medical Center for many years before retirement. Not a better friend. Old be found. He was kind and considerate and he loved his family above all. My prayers are with his wife and extended family. May he rest in peace.

Mr. Chow was a true patriot and a well-liked and respected regular at Shooters Indoor Gun Range. He will be missed.
