Jane Waldorf Obituary

Jane Dixon Waldorf entered into rest on May 26, 2025. She was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on Veterans Day in 1933 to Sydney F and Marian Dixon. She was a true pioneer in real estate who became a real estate broker in the CSRA in the early 1970s at a time when a few women held that title.

With quiet strength and fierce determination, she broke barriers and open doors for others to walk through. She was born on Veterans Day and passed away on Memorial Day, a life book-ended by days of honor, just like the legacy she leaves behind. Her courage, grace and spirit lives on in us every day.

She is survived by 5 children: Sandra Wischow (Paul), Richard Waldorf (Tina), Jon N. Waldorf (Angela), Janice Waldorf, and Marianne Brazell (Terry), 16 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild. There will be a private family viewing at 11 AM on Thursday, May 29, followed by a gravesite service.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Affinis Hospice, 2945 Walton Way, Augusta, Georgia.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
