Peggy Kolb Obituary
Memorial services will be held from Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 12:00 noon, with Reverend Wayne Usry officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 until the time of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kolb, daughter of the late James Joseph Reed Sr. and Myrtle Stephens Reed was from Round O, SC. She was one of 6 children and the youngest daughter. She grew up in the country and as a young girl she spent lots of time working on a farm.
She was valedictorian and Miss High Miss of Cottageville High School's class of 1962.
She was of Baptist faith and dedicated her entire life to serving the Lord. She was kind, caring, and generous. She was the epitome of a southern lady.
Mrs. Kolb retired from a long career in accounting and business administration. She worked at several business over the years and spent most of her career working as a bookkeeper at the Augusta Jewish Community Center.
Mrs. Kolb is survived by her son, Jamey Kolb (Tara Hendrick); her grandchild, Chase Shaw (Maddison); and her great grandchild, Wrenlee Shaw.

I will miss getting birthday cards from Aunt Peg. She never missed a year! Always so loving and had the sweetest disposition and smile.
