Randall Strozier Obituary

Mr. Randall Kea Strozier III, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Church of the Good Shepherd with The Rev. Dr. Bunny Simon Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.

Kea, a native of Augusta, was one of four children born to Randall Strozier Jr and Phyllis Hayes Strozier. A car accident when he was a young man left him without vision, but his quick wit and determination allowed him to persevere and become a public defense attorney. He graduated from Westside High School and then went on to Augusta College. He earned his law degree from Georgia State and set up his practice in Atlanta, as a criminal defense attorney. He was a music lover and enjoyed football and fishing. He will be remembered as a very kind, generous and unselfish man.

He's survived by his daughters, Lindsay Strozier and Emily Strozier; grandson, Jack Matthew Strozier; mother, Phyllis Strozier; brother, Wade Strozier (Amy); sisters, Emmie Strozier (Clay Ward) and Elizabeth Strozier; and cousins, Darrin Strozier (Kim) and Brad Strozier (Addie). He's also survived by his close friend and ex-wife, Lynn.

Please leave condolences in the online guestbook.
