Barbara Shank Obituary
Barbara Lee Shank, 87, of Glen Burnie passed away peacefully at her residence on December 22, 2024. Barbara was born on November 19, 1937, in Crisfield, Maryland to the late Catherine and Arthur Cullen. She worked as an administrator for several banks, the last one being Bank of America. She enjoyed yearly trips with her family to Disney World and Chincoteague, where she would feed apples to wild horses, enjoy eating homemade ice cream, and attend many chili cook-off contests. The thing that Barbara loved more than anything was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Barbara was predeceased by her devoted husband, Ronald L. Shank. She is survived by her beloved children, Susan L. Miller (Jeff) and Franklin N. Salisbury, Jr. (Penney); her cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Weiland (Ray), Ed Middlebrooks, Jr. (Stephanie), Erin Hall (Jason), Brian Salisbury (Eszter Szentirmai), and Darren Salisbury (Allison Woods Salisbury); her adored 17 great-grandchildren, and five great- great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., on Thursday, December 26th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 27th at 10:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
