Blanche Capriolo Obituary

Blanche A. Capriolo (nee Hopewood), age 91, died Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, at the Bridging Life-Dove House in Westminster, Maryland. Blanche was the wife of Saverio "Sam" Capriolo, her husband of 71 years, who survives her. She was the daughter of the late Paul I. Hopewood, and Mary Pascale Hopewood. She worked as a Dental Hygienist and as the Clinical Coordinator at the Dental Hygiene School at the Community College of Baltimore City. She is survived by her son, Dr. John A. Capriolo, DDS, and his wife, Angie, son Paul A. Capriolo, Esq., and his wife, Anne, daughter Laura A. Cammarata, and her husband, Chris, and daughter-in-law Catherine Colangelo, and her husband, Phil. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, MD 21784, on Wednesday, September 3rd from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service and mass will be held on Thursday, September, 4th, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 915 Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784.
