Cathy Wolfe Obituary

Cathy Lynn Wolfe, 72, of Pasadena, Maryland, was welcomed into Heaven on June 27, 2025, after a lengthy illness. She passed at home, according to her wishes. Born in Erwin, Tennessee, on December 19, 1952, to the late Cecil and Margaret Tittle, Cathy was the third of five children. A 1970 graduate of Severna Park High School, Cathy studied for her nursing certification while working as a bank teller and bookkeeper. However, no employment was closer to her heart than the time spent working as a health aide with elementary-aged children in the Anne Arundel County Public School System. After many years of service (with her longest tenure at Park Elementary), Cathy retired due to health issues. She was a devout Christian, prolific reader, and could keep up with even the best contestants when playing along with "Jeopardy!" In addition to her parents, Cathy is predeceased by her husband Jimmie K. Wolfe and sisters Janice Dougans, Betty Jo Winterbottom, and Donna Jernigan. She is survived by her sons Jimmie Wolfe (Stacey) of Lake Shore, MD, and Michael Wolfe (Jessica) of Wesley Chapel, NC, brother Gregory Tittle of Verona, VA, and beloved grandchildren Bayli and Keaton Wolfe of Wesley Chapel, NC. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake by clicking HERE.
