Dawn Winlack Obituary

Dawn Alice Winlack of Prince George's County, Md. passed away on Monday February 10, 2025 at the age 95.

 Dawn was born in Pottsville, Pa. on May 9, 1929. Dawn the third of four children born to Robert John and Rebecca Bostock . Dawn was the sister of Robert, Mae, and Darlene.

 In 1949 Dawn married the love of her life, James Franklin Winlack. Dawn and James were happily married until James passed in 1973. They had been married for twenty three years. Dawn never remarried and would often speak lovingly of James the rest of her life. 

 Dawn and James had three children, James, Donna, and Denise. Dawn is survived by her three children and her sister Darlene. Dawn is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

 Dawn and James moved from Pottsville, Pa. to Prince George's County, Md. in the early 1950's. She resided in Prince George's County the rest of her life. Dawn was a retired health aid for the Prince George's County Public Schools.

 Dawn was an active member of the District Heights Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star. 

 Dawn passed away at the residence of her daughter Donna who lovingly cared for her the last few months of life. 

 Dawn will be buried next to her husband at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, Md.
