Donald Nieberlein Obituary

Donald Joseph Nieberlein, Sr., age 79 of Rehoboth Beach, DE (formerly of Overlea/Northeast Baltimore), passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Born in Baltimore to the late Harry and Mary (Dickerson) Nieberlein; beloved father of Donald Nieberlein, Jr. and wife Eva of Halethorpe, Michael Nieberlein of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Tina Sproles and husband Bud of Parkton; loving grandfather of Leeann Shimer, Matthew Malinowski, Sr., Steven Nieberlein and Lauren Adams; dear brother of Richard Nieberlein and wife Edna of Parkville, David Nieberlein and wife Sherry Gentry and the late Robert Nieberlein; proud great-grandfather of Cameron, Hailey, Brendan, Matthew, Jr. and Camden. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and King, his trusty dog and pal. He proudly served in the Navy and for many years, as a Police Officer in the Baltimore City Police Department. He will be lovingly missed. Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville/Northeast Baltimore. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:30 PM To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Donald Nieberlein, Sr., please visit our floral store.
