Geoffrey Bright Obituary

Geoffrey Francis Bright, age 74, of Middle River, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Born in Maryland to the late George Bright, Sr. and Helen (Kulesza) Bright; loving, proud father of Aron Bright and wife Ilana Gottlieb of Parkville; loving brother of the late George Bright, Jr.; dear brother-in-law of Lee Bright of Springfield, VA; close uncle of Chris Bright and wife Kelly and Danielle Schoolcraft and husband Jeff, all of Woodbridge, VA; dear great-uncle of Ashlynn, Addison and Ella Bright and Keira and Kaylin Schoolcraft. Also survived by his sister, Valerie Mentzer and husband Robin of Gettysburg, PA. He started out as a skilled carpenter, working on projects here and in foreign countries. Later he returned to school earning a Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Baltimore. He will be lovingly missed by his family and friends. Family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, in the family owned Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 7527 Harford Rd, Parkville, MD. An informal Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 PM, giving family and friends a chance to share memories.
