George Keil Obituary

George Merle Keil, age 86 of Northeast Baltimore/Parkville, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Born in Baltimore to the late Merhle Adam Keil and Marie (Ruth) Keil; beloved husband of Doris Lynn (Van Newkirk) Keil; loving father of Leslie Rupp and husband Eric, Christopher Keil and wife Michele, Eric Keil; and wife Angel and Doris Shamieh and husband Greg; dear brother of Raymond Keil and wife Sharon and Ruth Kobal (late husband Charles); proud grandfather of Mallory Rupp, Zachary Rupp, Stephanie Keil, Christopher Keil, Autumn Keil, Devin Shamieh, Wallis Shamieh and Finn Shamieh. Also survived by his cherished granddogs: Maizy, Muffin and Warren, other relatives and friends. He served in the Navy and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping, crabbing, cooking, baking and canning vegetables. Merle will be lovingly missed. Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 AM in St. Michael Lutheran Church, 9534 Belair Rd, Perry Hall, MD 21236.
