With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jacob Joe Espada, who left us far too soon on February 1, 2025. Born on April 21, 1992, Jacob was a beloved son, father, brother, cousin, and friend.
Jacob was the cherished son of Joe and Elaina and the adored grandson of Awilda and Jose. He was a loving brother to Ashley, Jeremiah, Isabella, and Isaiah. He also shared an unbreakable bond with his cousins Rahmel and Justin, who were more like brothers and were always by his side. Above all, Jacob was a devoted father to his two beautiful daughters, Arianna (6) and Malani (3), whom he loved with all his heart. He also shared a deep bond with Thalia, the mother of his children, whom he held dear.
A skilled mechanic by trade, Jacob had a passion for working with his hands and solving problems. But beyond his work, he had a true gift for bringing joy to those around him. He lived to cook for others, always eager to share a meal and laughter with family and friends. His sense of humor and generous spirit were unmatched he was the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone in need.
Jacob's kindness, warmth, and laughter will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A private service to celebrate Jacob's life will be held.
May he rest in peace, and may his love continue to shine through those he leaves behind.
