Katharine Feiock Obituary

Katharine Barbara Feiock, née Lawless, of Baltimore, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, at age 76.

After graduating high school, Kathy's desire to serve led her to enter a convent. She left to dedicate herself to caring for her mother. Kathy embarked on a fulfilling career as a lab technician at Johns Hopkins University and the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Kathy taught herself computer programming and successfully transitioned into a new career as a programmer. She later pivoted again and founded the Bridge Club of Baltimore, which she directed for many years. Kathy also pursued her passions for art, gardening, and Gilbert & Sullivan operettas.

Kathy is survived by her daughter Katie Feiock (Deborah Golden); her grandchildren, Elijah and Dorothy Feiock-Golden; and her sisters, Helen Solsten and Molly Lawless. She was preceded in death by her sister Elizabeth Opal and her brother Joseph Lawless.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on October 12, 2025, at the Clubhouse at Annen Woods Apartments, just before 199 Granary Drive, Pikesville, MD. A reception will immediately follow at 4 Candlemaker Court, #201.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Trans Youth Equality Foundation.
