Marco Antonio Garcia, known lovingly as “Tony,” passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 26, 2025, at the age of 69.
Born in Mexico City, Mexico, on January 24, 1956, Tony immigrated to the United States with his family in 1961. He built a life rooted in hard work and family, dedicating his entire career to Baltimore Steel Erectors in Baltimore, Maryland.
Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Paz Adela Garcia (2005), and his father, Armando Hernandez Garcia (2017). He is survived by his children, Christina and Marco ; two grandchildren (Teddy and June); his sister, Adela; his brother, Armando; two nieces (Lauren and Samantha); and one nephew (Brock).
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tony’s life on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20715. A viewing will be held from 1:00–2:00 p.m., followed by a service beginning at 2:00 p.m. A reception to follow will be announced at the funeral home.
A proud Washington sports fan, Tony rarely missed an opportunity to cheer for the Redskins attending many games throughout his life. He was equally proud of his Mexican and Native American heritage, carrying those roots close to his heart throughout his life.
Tony will be remembered for his loyalty, quiet strength, and deep love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, pride, and devotion that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
