Paul Fetherston Obituary
Paul Fetherston, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the age of 74.
Born at home on December 30, 1950, in Pasadena, MD, Paul later moved to Oxon Hill before returning to his hometown in Pasadena, MD after high school. He graduated from Oxon Hill High School and pursued further education at Prince George's Community College and Anne Arundel Community College.
Paul proudly served in the United States Navy, joining the Naval Air Reserves in the early 1970s as an aircraft mechanic specializing in hydraulics. His professional life reflected his tireless dedication: from his early days as a Realtor and his time with French Bray Printing, to his successful return to real estate with esteemed firms such as Century 21, Remax, and eventually Douglas Realty, where he retired. He was an active member of the Realtor's Association and respected by peers and clients alike.
Beyond work, Paul lived with passion and purpose. His pursuit of inner growth and understanding led him to explore studies in Inner Wisdom, Intuition, Creativity and Inner Guidance, and Exploring the Human Bio-Energy Field. As a Reiki Master and martial arts enthusiast-affectionately known as "Paul the Wall"-he inspired others with his discipline and spirit. He found joy in playing guitar, listening to music, enjoyed art, sketching, camping, fishing, and spending time at his beloved property in West Virginia. A lifelong animal lover, he enjoyed pigeon breeding and racing, horseback riding and raising Koi fish. He also took pride in honoring his Native American roots.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Fetherston; his mother, Naomi Jean Fetherston; his children, Wendy Jantz and her husband Matt, and Eric Fetherston and his wife Michele; and his siblings, Ramona Gilberto, Gary Fetherston, and Noel Fullerton. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Kayleigh, Taylor, Madison, and Ava, and great-granddaughter, Peyton. He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Fetherston.
A funeral service to honor Paul's life will be held at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. A visitation will precede the service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
In memory of Paul, his family invites all who knew him to celebrate his adventurous spirit, dedication to family and friends, and his contributions to the church and community he loved. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
