Sharon Lorraine Mayne, 63, passed away peacefully at St. Agnes Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on May 9, 1961, in Baltimore to Jean Jordan and the late Francis Jordan, Sharon dedicated herself to her work in the finance department at Northrop Grumman and CACI, where she was respected and valued.
Sharon was not only a committed professional but also a vibrant and nurturing mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Michael David Mayne, Sr. Together, they shared a bond that was a true testament to love and partnership. Sharon's spirit will forever be remembered by her loving children: Christopher Jordan (Terry), Brian Powers (Jamie), Melissa Mayne (Howard), Michael Mayne Jr. (Amy), and Kevin Mayne (Dawn), all of whom carry forward her kindness and strength. She was also adored by her cherished grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to her life, as well as her beloved mother, Jean Jordan, and her dear brothers, Randy (Donna) and Michael Jordan.
As we gather to honor Sharon’s life, we remember her passionate love for family, her laughter, and the warm presence she brought to all who knew her. The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., located at 1 2nd Ave. S.W. (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie on Sunday, October 20, from 1-3 and 5-7 pm.
