Vivian Ackerman Obituary
She was born Jan. 4, 1914 in Kurtz to the late Howard and Isaphene Matlock Armbruster. On Dec. 25, 1934 she married Neal Ackerman in Odon, and he preceded her in death on March 23, 1994.
Mrs. Ackerman was a member of Brownstown Christian Church. She was a homemaker and a member of Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Stephen (Peggy) Ackerman of Brownstown; a son-in-law, Herbert E. Bultman, Jr. of Cape Coral, Fla.; six grandchildren, Mary (Toby) Elmore, Bruce (Jane) Bultman, Julie (Bruce) Cassady, Drew (Kate) Ackerman, Tom (Nancy) Ackerman, and Stephanie Ackerman; and nine great-grandchildren, Eric Bultman, Nicole Bultman, Jenny Bultman, Brittany Cantu, Trevor Cassady, Jack Ackerman, Zoe Ackerman, Neal Ackerman, and Luke Ackerman.
She was preceded in death by both parents; daughter, Nan Bultman; brother, William Howard Armbruster; three sisters, Lorene Hargrove, Lillian Berry, and Fern Stark.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Brownstown Christian Church, with Michael Hogg officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the church.
Memorials may be given to Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary and Brownstown Christian Church Building Fund.
