Caroline Covin

Caroline Stillman Covin, 90 of Atlantic Beach, Florida, died April 12, 2025.

She was born Nov. 5, 1934, in Huntington, West Virginia, to Hugh Deming Stillman and Elizabeth Gwinn Stillman. She met the love of her life, Robert Graham Covin, while they both worked at Rich?s, in Atlanta. They were married 51 years at the time of his death in 2014.

Caroline and Robert moved to St. Simons Island in 1993 and enjoyed living in the beautiful family favorite vacation destination for many years. In 2007, they moved to Fleet Landing in Atlantic Beach and enjoyed being with their many friends there.

Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Covin Lankford (Dennis); her son, Robert Graham Covin Jr. (Stacy); seven granddaughters, Rachel Covin McFadden (Micah), Rebecca Covin, Chloé Covin Justiniano (Fernando), Alyssa Teel, Gwinn Lankford, Talley Moncrief and Molly Moncrief.

A service in celebration of Caroline?s life will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025 in Johnson Hall at Fleet Landing, 1 Fleet Landing Blvd., Atlantic Beach, FL 32233.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fleet Landing Endowment Fund or Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
