Edwin Mayo

Edwin A. Mayo, 88, of St. Simons Island, died Sunday.

He was a family medicine practitioner in Glynn County.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church St. Simons Island with interment to follow in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

A full obituary will follow.

Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home, www.brunswickmemorial park.com, handled the arrangements.
