Yesterday

Uncle Herbert was a "good man" in every sense of the word. He will be remembered lovingly and missed very much. I will always remember when we gathered for reunions and the love and laughter we all shared.

A wonderful man and mentor. Herbert was a good friend of my father (Herbert Strickland) and played a big influence on my life. I have great respect and admiration for him and the life he led and take comfort in knowing he is in the arms of Jesus. My thoughts and prayers are with Mildred and family. RIP

I never got to know Uncle Herbert all that well but I loved his sense of humor. I recall one family reunion where he had everyone in stitches rolling with laughter as he presented one liners after another. I could hardly catch my breath. It was a good time! He had many callings and a life well lived. Thank you Uncle Herbert for all you gave. We love you.
