Patrick Meadows Obituary
Patrick O'Brien Meadows Sr., 92, passed away June 28, 2025, after an extended illness. He was born Nov. 28, 1932, in Ohoopee, to the late Allie Mitchell Meadows and Lollie O'Brien Meadows.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Meadows; and his daughter, Lorrie Ann Meadows.
He served in the United States Army in the Korean War. He was a member of the College Place Methodist Church for many years, and a retired accountant from Georgia Natural Gas.
He is survived by two sons, Patrick Meadows Jr. (Mayme) of Brunswick and Kelly Meadows of Brunswick; one daughter, Sharon Ritchey of St. Simons; three grandchildren, Obie Meadows and Rilley and Lilly Ritchey; and one sister, Alliegean Trosten of St. Simons Island.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ryan Lamb officiating.
The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.
Crosby Funeral Home, in Alma, is in charge of the arrangements.
