Ruth Pittman Obituary
The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Jackie Holden officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Ruth was born April 29, 1951, in Dallas, Ga., to J.D. and Estell Long. Coming from Brunswick, she had lived the past 27 years in Jesup, and was a member of Flynt Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Bill R. Pittman Jr.; a son, Jamie Pittman (Shelley Herrin); grandchildren, Trinity Pittman, Madelyn Herrin and Wyatt Herrin, all of Jesup; and sisters, Hazel Lyons of Waverly and Joyce Glisson of Brantley County.
Chapman Funeral Chapel & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
