Sandra Jackson Obituary
Sandra G. "Sandy" Jackson passed away Sept. 26, 2025. The family is forever grateful for the loving care she received from the staff of Heartland Hospice during the past several months, allowing her to remain in the contentment of her home.
She was born on May 1, 1945, in Douglas, to the late Julius and Elizabeth Grantham and was a lifelong resident of Brunswick. She was a 1963 graduate of Glynn Academy High School and married the love of her life, James T. (Buddy) Jackson on Nov.11, 1963. They had four beautiful daughters, Tammy (Tommy) Hamilton, Wendy (Glenn) Erwin, Sandy (Russ) Smith and Cindy Jackson-Williams (Daryl Williams). She adored being "Nana" to her seven grandchildren, Bradley (Jamie) Hamilton, Kelsey (Cole) Delaney, Tyler Erwin, Sydney Erwin, Corinne Smith, Micah Williams and Kenley Williams, as well as great-grandchildren, Brecken and Brewer Hamilton; and beloved pets, Holli and Roxy.
She worked for many years in outside sales of office supplies and obtained her real estate license in 2001, working as a Realtor before retiring in 2008.
She was a member of Upsilon Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, holding numerous offices and developing cherished long-time friendships.
Family and friends will honor her in a celebration of life to be held later.

Sandra and I met in the 4th grade and became friends. We loved playing paper dolls and would spend hours at each other's home playing with them. I moved away and just came back and had one more time with her just wish we had more time together.

Our sympathies to the Grantham and Jackson families and to her Class of '65 high school classmates who will remember fond memories of "Sandy". (There is no yearbook picture of Sandy available.)
