Sharon Duryee

Sharon Patricia Duryee, 75, passed away on Sept. 20, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family and under the care of Heartland Hospice.

She was born on Jan. 27, 1940, in Baltimore, to the late Charles and Elizabeth "Betty" Carroll. She graduated high school and lived in Maryland until 1990 but resided in Brunswick for the past 33 years. She worked at the Glynn County Health Department in the H.R. Department and in office management. Sharon liked crafts and gardening and studying genealogy. She was of the Protestant faith.

Sharon leaves behind her husband, Laird Duryee of Brunswick; her son, Zachary Napfel (Hayley) also of Brunswick; her daughter, Robin Napfel, of Concord, California; one brother, Charles Carroll (Martha) of Grant, Florida; and a sister, Nan Gorden (Clifton) of Brunswick; as well as one niece and nephew.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles.

Brunswick Memorial Park is honored to be assisting the Duryee family.
