Ken Pirtle Obituary

Ken E. Pirtle, 79, of Guy, died on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at Baptist Health in Little Rock.
He was born April 4, 1934, in Milburn, Ky., to the late Leonard W. Pirtle and Jessie P. (Logston) Pirtle.
Ken retired from National Elevator as an Elevator Mechanic/Electrician. He loved gardening, fishing, and just tinkering around.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Bise Pirtle of Greenbrier; his two sons, Kerry W. Pirtle (Dennise) of Riverside, Calif., and Danny L. Pirtle of Conway; three step-children, Jeanice Post (Billy) of Gravel Ridge, Ark., Carolyn Lienhart (Tom) of Guy, and Larry Bise (Deb) of Morley, Mich.; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Wilbur Pirtle; and his daughter, Katana K. Forbes.
Pallbearers: Marvin Barham, Bruce Filbert, Shane Bradley, Dillon Bradley, Greg Hooten, and Jesse Ellis.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, in the Chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, with Bro. Matthew Martin officiating.
Visitation will be an hour before the service.
Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville, Ark.
