Nicholas "Nick" Barker, age 41, of Conway, passed away on Oct. 6, 2021. He was born Nov. 11, 1979, in Little Rock, to Ronnie and Chris Barker. Nick graduated in 1998, from Conway High School. He started his career at an entry level IT position. Nick worked hard throughout his life to ultimately achieve a system architect position at Tarrant County water district in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was the ultimate master of telling dad jokes and enjoyed rock climbing but more than anything he loved to watch his girl's rock climb. Nick always had some new gadget in his backpack to play with.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Dollie Barker; and grandpa, Donald Goudeau.
Nick is survived by his wife, Sarah; daughters, Blake, Kate and Chloe Barker; parents, Ronnie and Chris Barker; brothers, Kyle (Paige) Barker and Baus Barker; niece, Alexis; nephews, Drew, Will and Charlie; great-nephew, Dash.
Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021 at University Church of Christ in Conway.
Visitation will begin one hour prior at 10 a.m. at the Church.
Burial will follow at Quattlebaum Cemetery in Bee Branch, AR.
