Ruthie Jean Page, 94, went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2025. A longtime resident of Mayflower. She retired from Windsor Door. She loved her family and friends with all her heart. She was wonderful at everything she did, whether it be sitting for days working on quilts, sewing, fishing or deer hunting. There were very few "deer seasons" she missed or summers that she didn't spend on the White River fishing. Jean took great pride in everything she did.
She is preceded in death by her parents, S.L. and Esther Tucker; sisters, Dorothy Tharp, Rachel Page, Frankie Tucker; brother, Willis Tucker; and her beloved husband, Lloyd Page Sr.
She is survived by her brother, Glenn Tucker (Gladys); sons, Joseph M. Melton, Lloyd Page Jr (Carol), Lynn Page (Diana); grandchildren, Tina Johnson (Bobby), Joey Melton, Christine Billingsley (Anthony), Adam Page, Matt Page and Hunter Page (Taylor). She has 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Proverbs 31:28-29: "Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 'Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.'"
This verse speaks to the honor and praise a mother and grandmother deserve for their love and dedication.
There will be a 10 a.m. graveside service on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Harmony Cemetery in Sherwood, Arkansas.
