Sarah Lassiter Obituary

Sarah Janet Lassiter, 71, of Conway, born Dec. 4, 1939, passed away Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Lassiter Sr.; parents, Monte and Sarah Haney; and a brother, Robert Haney.
Janet is survived by four children, Rex Lassiter II, Ryan Lassiter, Daniel Lassiter (Kimberly) and Tangela Lassiter.
She is also survived by a brother, Ron Haney (Karen); six grandchildren, Stephanie Bostic, Justin Lassiter (Kasey), Nichole Lee, Emily Lassiter, Erin Lassiter and Carson Beene; and two great-grandchildren, Noah Lassiter and Harley Lassiter.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Friendship Baptist Church, 767 Rocky Point Rd, Conway.
Service will follow at 11 a.m. Officiating minister will be Bro. Ken Jordan.
Pallbearers are Brian Hall, David Hampton, Chad Collins, Jeff Moss, Mike Kimbrell, Greg Starkey, Rusty Hogan and Ron Bridges.
Honorary pallbearer will be Blake Day.
Interment will be in Crestlawn Cemetery, Conway.

We are sorry for your loss. Our families shared a lot of good memories over the years. I am sorry that we haven't kept in touch. I still use Janet's taco salad recipe, it is our favorite, and think of her every time we use it. Donna Ussery Toombs
