Vernon Sublett, age 89, was born to Jesse Sublett and Zora James Sublett in the Centerville community in Faulkner County, Arkansas. Juanita Sublett, age 84, was born to W. L. House and Ida Knippers House in the village of Converse in Sabine Parish, Louisiana. Vernon was a retired business owner known for his skills as a glazier and auto upholsterer. They were also predeceased by their grandson, Cody Sublett.

They are also survived by their very close church family that formally met at the Maumelle Church of Christ and their new church family at the Windsong Church of Christ.
Vernon and Juanita's home and table were always open to anyone that had been invited by their sons and grandchildren. Strangers would quickly become welcome friends. Step-grandchildren were instantly known as just grandchildren from day one and never treated differently than those born into the family. Their capacity for love was abundant and unending.

Lives are like rivers, my friends.... eventually... they go where they must..... NOT where we want them to. But do not despair. Death is not an extinguishing of the light. It is only turning down the lamp... because the DAWN has finally arrived. God Bless, Rick.
