He carried his dad's traditions of "sweet treats" and always had goodies for visitors young and old. Enjoyed canoeing on the Spring River, trips to Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, and out west. Bill was a home designer and builder. He built his home and one for each of his sons and taught them building and fixing skills. Bill had a hard-working ethic and a well-stocked shop, always ready with a helping hand.
Left to cherish his memory, his wife of 41 years, Pauline Basler Welter; sons, Timothy Edward Welter (Stacy) and Mark Joseph Welter (Lavonne); sister, Linda Welter Andrews; niece, Charlotte Smith; nephew, Chris Andrews; great niece, Abbie Smith; grandson, Todd Welter (Jennie); granddaughter, Kayla Thomas (Justin); grandson, Doug Welter (Kaylen); granddaughter, Danielle Maczka (Brooks); great grandchildren, Brook and Joseph Welter, Lynlee, Lillie, and Livee Thomas.
May he rest in God's eternal peace and his memory live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and loved ones whose lives were touched by his quiet, giving and often mischievous nature.
