Arturo Covarrubias Obituary
Arturo Covarrubias passed away on January 9th, 2021 at the age of 57.
Arturo was born on October 23, 1963 in Salinas, Ca.
Besides a few months of residing in Las Vegas after his youngest grandchild was born, he spent the majority of his life living in Salinas.
Arturo was a hardworking man who always provided for his family. He spent his career conquering the restaurant industry. He was an excellent chef who worked his way into management. He also spent time as a roofer and a service driver.
Arturo was a free spirited man with a positive attitude who made many friends that he kept in touch with throughout his life.
Arturo was preceded in death by his parents Guadalupe and Margarita Covarrubias, and his brother Jose Luis Covarrubias.
He is survived by his daughters, Corrina (Kyle) Covarrubias, Jessica(Jeremy) Covarrubias Castillo and Casondra(Eric) Covarrubias, his sisters, Guadalupe Martinez, Rosa Rodriguez and Patricia Flores, his Brothers, Rene and Angel Covarrubias, and Grandchildren Marques, Jadyn, Ariana and Ellia.
Arturo's services will take place on January 29th at Alta Vista Mortuary. Due to COVID's limiting restrictions, there will be a closed casket public viewing between 2:00 - 3:00pm.

Burial Services and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

My deepest condolences to the Covarrubias familia. I remember Art growing up at Roosevelt school and Salinas High. He always had a smile on his face. May he Rest In Peace.
