Jack Barton Sr., 78, of Sonora, passed away Friday, Nov, 27, 2015, of lung cancer. He was born March 18, 1937.
Military Service - U.S. Air Force
Jack was owner of R & D Enterprises and Barton Custom Drywall. His hobbies were playing in Poker Tournaments and spending time with family.
Survivors include his children, Brenda Barton Alford, Jackie Barton, Jack Barton Jr.; siblings, Jackie Nelson, James Barton, Bill Barton, Linda Lenior; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, seven nieces and seven nephews.

We are so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. We have such wonderful family memories because of your dad and mom. They provided an activity that many families could not have experienced without their hard work. We will be forever grateful to your mom and dad for that opportunity of gathering at a race track and enjoying time with family and friends. Your dad always treated every one with courtesy and respect while still remaing "in charge" of a rambunctious activity. We will always remember him fondly!
