Richard Garcia Palacio, 58, of Chualar, passed away May 4, 2011, of natural causes.
He was born September 15, 1952, in Chualar.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Felicia, Vilet, Leah, Athia; his grandchildren, Gregory, Alyssa, Serina, Melina, Benjamin, Ivory Devin, Victor, David, Tatiana, David, Aryanna; his siblings, Albert, Pat, Michael, Roy, Ralph, Darlene, Esther, Anthony, Raul, Sonia, Johnny, Maria; his mother, Josie Palacio; his wife, Sandy; their dog, Solo; their cats; her children, Monica and David; countless nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Palacio Sr., and his brother, Manny Palacio.
Visitation: 1 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 6, at Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Road, Salinas.
Rosary: 7 p.m. Friday, May 6, at Healey Mortuary.
Mass service: 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at Healey Mortuary Chapel.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Jesus hears the prayers of your heart just as clearly as He hears the prayers that others are lifting up for you.
So far as long as you grieve, may it be a comfort to remember this: the more you need Him, the closer He will be!
Keeping our lost ones in thought & prayer during a sad time is a time for gathering all the best of a good life into pages of memory, to be held in the heart forever.
Holding you close in thought and praying that memories will bring peace and comfort.
