Ronnie Dale Ralph, 67, of Coarsegold, passed away March 13, 2016, at home in the presence his loving wife. He was born in Richmond, the son of Dale and Catherine Ralph.
Ronnie took a job at Salinas Valley Ford in 1969 and worked there as a loyal employee for the rest of his working days, eventually becoming the Parts Department Manager. Ronnie worked for Ford for 43 years. He was active as a reserve officer for the Salinas Police Department, as well as a motor squad officer for the Monterey County Sheriff.
Ronnie's personal hobbies included motorcycle riding, hunting, backpacking, fishing, snow skiing, archery, coin collecting, as well as participating as a pit crew member for a local driver. He was also a Ham Radio Operator and volunteered for emergency communications in the early 70's.
Ronnie loved Christ and the church, and was always available to meet the needs of his fellow members.
Ronnie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He spent his life making wonderful memories with those he loved. Whether it was houseboat vacations, skiing, backpacking, hunting trips, chopping down a fresh Christmas tree, a special date to the donut shop, or a simple balloon from the dealership, Ronnie will be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Diana (Edgerton) Ralph; his sons, Scott and Adam; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. He also leaves two sisters, and two brothers.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2016, in the auditorium at Central Valley Christian Academy at 2020 Academy Place in Ceres.

I worked for Ronnie almost 30years ago in the parts department, he was a good, nice and fair boss. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. God Bless your family in this difficult time. He is now with our Lord.

I so remember all of our camping experiences (funny, crazy, and also serious) through Wagons Ho, your assistance with so many parts to our various Fords over the many years, and our friendship. You will be greatly missed.

Ronnie was a part of a great family of employees who worked at the Erwin Ford and Salinas Valley Ford dealership. When I went to work there in the 70's, he was one of the first to welcome me. He treated everyone with kindness and was so helpful when you needed to take care of a customer's needs with parts and service. Most of us who shared in that family are no longer at the dealership, but we have remained family through the years. Diane, Scotty and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Ronnie will not be forgotten.

Ron was extremely kind to me - hiring me at SVF in 1981, then again for two summers while I was in college. He was a very generous and kind hearted person, and I kept in touch with him over the years. I will really miss him.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ronnie and I started at the police department back in 1982. I have very fond memories of him and always knew him to be kind and considerate.
I'm going to miss Ronnie, but I know he's in a better place now.
