Salinas
Shahram Bradley Farahmand, known to his family and friends as "Butch", died peacefully at his home in Salinas on July 25, 2017.
Butch, who was born on his grandfather and great uncle's birthday, had a kind and generous heart. He loved making people smile and laugh. He always helped the homeless and those less fortunate than himself. Butch was employed in the family catering business and had an entrepreneurial spirit, having started many small businesses. He would help anyone in need and would give you his last dollar if you needed it. He was loved by all who met him. Butch attended Valley Baptist Church of Salinas, where he was Baptized.
Butch is survived by his mother, Tammy Lea (Stan) Salczynski of Portales, New Mexico; father, Shahram Farahmand (Emily Hernandez) of Salinas; fiance, Annette Irachett of Salinas; granddaughter, Jenna of Salinas; siblings, Heideh Farahmand of Livermore, Kimberly Augsburger of Tirana, Albania, Hillary Leavitt of Red Lodge, Montana, Josselyn Leavitt of Oxnard and Ian Morran of Salinas, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends and his beloved dog, "Rico".
He was preceded in death by his "Papa and Momo", William "Hub" Bradley and Joan Bradley of Salinas; and paternal grandparents, Haroon Farahmand of Tehran, Iran and Maryam "Memmie" Farahmand of San Diego.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at the Salinas Sports Complex, 1034 N. Main St., Salinas, CA 93906.
Donations may be made to: Sun Street Center or Safe Place in Monterey.

The day you were born I realized that I now knew love. Ours was a closeness that was beyond anything most could imagine. People commented on it. Some were jealous of it. You were a "Mama's Boy" from the start; well, maybe you were your Papa's, Papa Hub's at the very beginning, but quickly became mine. I just don't know how to go on. But I will. Shahram, Tammy & Kimmy,
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. We are so saddened and shocked to hear of Butch's passing. Butch was the greatest kid. Allyson loved him like a brother. She still talks about the times she went with Butch, Kimmy and Ashley to the Boardwalk. Butch will forever be in our hearts and thoughts. Shahram, Tammy & Kimmy and other family members you will always be in our prayers.
