Ella Jean Dalton, 72, of Meadows of Dan, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Dalton was born in Patrick County to the late Coy Eugene and Vesta Kimball Goins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy.
Survivors include her children and spouses, David Belcher of Meadows of Dan, Donna and Darrell Dickens of Fancy Gap, and Scott Tate of Mt. Airy, NC; brothers, Gene Goins, Mike Goins, Johnny Goins, and Bobby Joe Goins; grandson and spouse, Lee and Dawn Quesinberry; and five great grandchildren, Hanna, Cody, Brandy, Carley Jo, and Caden.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Bell Spur Church at 3:00 PM with Elder Tim McGrady and Rev. Shannon Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in the Bell Spur Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the church from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the funeral service. A guestbook is available online by visiting www.vaughanguynnandmcgrady.com.
