Born on August 22, 1956, to Elmo and Theoa Nester of Woodlawn, VA, Yvonne graduated from Carroll County High School in 1974. Shortly after graduation, on June 22, Yvonne married William "Willie" Webb of Hillsville. In 1980, the two of them welcomed their first son, Dedrian (wife, Rhonda), and in 1987, they completed their family with another son, Zachary ("Zack").
Yvonne devoted her entire life to her family. She was never more delighted than when her home was filled with her kids' and grandkids' laughter from pranks, Nerf wars, or Just Dance competitions. She loved snuggling on the couch and taking rides with her pups, and relished quality time with her best sister-friends shopping, seeing movies and going to eat. The space left by her absence is already palpable and will be impossible to fill.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Theoa Nester. She is survived by her husband, Willie; sons, Dedrian and Zack; grandchildren: Kira, Haven, Lane, Abbigail, Alexander; brother, Ron Nester (wife, Michele); nephew, Moses Nester (wife, Leah; daughter, Journey); nieces, Megan Cox (husband, Jared; son, Nash; daughter, Mackenzie) and Madison Bobbitt; uncles, Lewis Vass (wife, Betty) and Larry Vass (wife, Charlotte); cousins, Vickie Marvin and Tony Vass; and best friends: Sandy Marshall, Becky Primm, and Teri Wright.
Yvonne will be forever cherished by her family, friends, and community. A floating Celebration of Life will take place from 11:00-1:00, on Saturday, October 18, at New Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church (1214 Crooked Oak Road, Hillsville, VA). Light hor d'oeuvres will be served. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made "In Loving Memory of Faithe Yvonne Webb" to Good Samaritan Hospice of Christiansburg, VA.
