Glenda "Joyce" Alexander Stone, 79, of Draper, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Mrs. Stone was the owner of Sunshine Tours in Dublin, Virginia. She was born in Carroll County to the late Lester Alexander and Leola Easter Alexander. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Carroll E. Stone.
Survivors include her two sisters, Norma Sue Alderman of Woodlawn, Virginia and Geraldine Wilbanks of Greenville, South Carolina, her beloved cats, Buddy and Missy as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow in Coulson Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society in Dublin, Virginia. A guestbook is available online by visiting www.vaughanguynnandmcgrady.com. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
