Robert Patton Obituary
Robert Franklin Patton, age 55, of Galax, Va., passed away September 22, 2013 at Grayson Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Independence, Va. He was born May 18, 1958 to Janice Davis and Robert Cliffton Patton. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Clifton Patton. Surviving, mother, Janice Davis Patton of Galax; two sons, Robert Brandon (Angela) Patton of Elliston, Va. and Dustin Cliffton Patton of Galax; granddaughter, Zion Patton of Galax; two sisters, Donna Patton of Galax and Janet (Bill) Bunker of Mt. Airy, NC; niece, Amanda Pauley of Fries; great nephew, Matthew Rector of Fries; many aunts, uncles and special friend Angela Baldwin of Independence. At Mr. Patton's request his body was given to medical science. The family states that in memory of Robert monetary donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, 4335 Cox Road, Glen Allen, Va. 23060 or Alzheimer's Association, Central and Western Virginia, 674 Hillsdale Drive, Suite 1, Charlottesville, Va. 22901. Arrangements by Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Independence, Va.
