Connie Erdely Obituary
Born August 13, 1956, in Elmira, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Ruth N. (Richards) Kruckow.
Connie graduated from the DuBois Area High School in 1974 where she was a member of the high school marching band and chorus. She earned an associate's degree from the Erie Business College. Connie lived in Arizona for several years before returning to the DuBois area in 1983. She worked for Triangle Springs and Prontock Beer Distributing. Connie was an avid Steelers fan and loved doing football pools. She was a member of the VFW, Falls Creek Eagles, American Legion, Sandy Club, and the Pulaski. Connie enjoyed watching soap operas and game shows on television.
Connie is survived by a daughter, Amy Erdely, DuBois; five grandchildren, Jasmine, Nicholas, Emma, Johann, and Jadzia; siblings, Joe (JoAnn) Kruckow, DuBois, Joann (William) Frederick, DuBois, and Nancy (Jimmy) Lorance, Texas; brother-in-law, Bob Butters, Virginia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Patricia Kruckow and Mary Butters, and her beloved dog, Chief.
There will be no services as per Connie's wishes. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
Memorial donations may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.

Connie was a sweetheart who suffered in pain for a very very long time. Despite her pain, she always brought joy to other people. Whether it be a kind word, a charitable donation or her fun outfits - she always tried to bring a little light into other people's day.
She will be greatly missed.
