Donna Stockdale Obituary
Born on July 29, 1946, in Ridgway, PA, she was the daughter of the late Burton J. and Olga (Washkow) Shaver.
Donna was a 1964 graduate of Elk County Christian High School.
On August 14, 1972, she married Francis "Fran" Stockdale, Sr. who "was the love of her life for 51 years, and carried her heart and soul in his hands". Fran survives.
She was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.
Donna enjoyed talking, playing games, going to yard sales, bingo and gambling, but above all she loved going on adventures and spending time with her family.
Donna leaves behind her three children who were "her life", Lisa Schoening and her husband Rick, Mike Stockdale and his wife Dody and Franny Stockdale, eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother Burton T. Shaver. His wife JoAnne survives.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 1-4 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 10 a.m. from Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
Burial will take place in Morningside Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Sykesville Volunteer Fire Department, 106 E. Liberty Street, Sykesville, PA 15865.
