Edith Fridley Obituary

Edith A. Fridley, 83, DuBois, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.

Born March 22, 1938, in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Edith E. (Turner) Duttry.

On February 21, 1959, she married Charles L. Fridley in Sabula. He preceded her in death on January 29, 2019.

Edith previously worked as a housekeeper at Christ the King Manor. She enjoyed doing puzzles and spending time with her family. Edith was Protestant by faith.

Edith is survived by two children, Charles (Carolyn) Fridley and Lincoln L. Fridley, all of Rockton; three grandchildren, Kyle Fridley, Shanna (Jason) Turner, and Ashley (Zayne) Rhed; four great-grandchildren, Madison Rhed, Mason Fridley, and Pinsley and Layla Turner; half-siblings, Laura (Greg) Wayne, Florida, and Robert Smith, Sabula, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Edith was preceded in death by five siblings, Mary Wingert, and George, Ted, Vernon, and Dave Duttry, and an infant son, Vernon R. Fridley.

All services were private and held at the family's convenience. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
