Evelyn Sinast Obituary
Evelyn was actively involved in the Holy Family Catholic Church, the Food Bank, County Extension offices, and president of the Red Hats Society in Taft. She also had been a homemaking judge in many county agriculture shows and was a U.S. Army veteran.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ann Caine; her son, Richard Shedd; her husbands, Donald Shedd and Gail Sinast; two stepsons, Randy Shedd and Ronnie Shedd; and her brother, Roland Caine.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Sharon) Shedd and Steven Shedd of Taft; her brothers, Ronald Caine and Jack Caine of DuBois, Pennsylvania; step-daughter Lisa Sinast; her sister, Bonnie Bloom of DuBois, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Rhonda Shedd, John (Hannah) Dearing, Jr.; Zackary Dearing, Samantha (Daniel) Dearing, Adalie Aranda, and Amber Sinast; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews in DuBois, Pennslyania.
A holy mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Taft, Texas. This will conclude the services.
