Gary Shick Obituary

Gary W. Shick, age 65, Main Street, Falls Creek, Pa., died Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Christ the King Manor.
Born June 6, 1951, in Shreveport, La., he was the son of the late Robert Wayne Shick and Dolores (Sierzega) Shick.
He was an electrician by trade and was a route delivery salesman for DuBois Wholesale Products.
He was Catholic by faith and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially "The Mudhole."
Gary is survived by three daughters, Jessica L. Nelen and her husband, Louis of Grampian, Pa., Melissa R. Shick and Kimberly M. Shick, both of DuBois, Pa.; four brothers: Ronald Shick and his wife, Kim of Falls Creek, Pa., Joseph Shick and his wife, Jenny of Wishaw, Pa., Stephen Shick and his wife, Michelle of DuBois, Pa. and Gregory Shick and his wife, Stephanie of DuBois, Pa.; two sisters, Marilyn Knox and her husband, Jay of Rowayton, Conn., and Deborah Shick of Charlottesville, Va.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John R. Shick and an infant brother, Robert M. Shick, Jr.
There will be no public visitation.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorials may be sent to the Gateway Humane Society, 1211 Airport Road, Falls Creek, PA 15840.
The Goble-Baronick Funeral Home, DuBois, is in charge of the arrangements.
