Hilda Phillips Obituary

Hilda B. Phillips, 95, of DuBois, PA died Thursday, October 2, 2025, at her home.

Born on June 25, 1930, in Martin County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Britton and Beuna Wright.

She married Henry Phillips in 1951. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1999.

Hilda had worked at Brockway Glass for 27 years.

Hilda is survived by her children (Elsie Maurer and her husband Dean of Norristown, PA, Thomas Phillips and his wife Sherry of DuBois, PA, David Phillips and his wife Renee of Kent, OH, Richard Phillips, Pam Stemmerich and Darrell Phillips, all of DuBois, PA), eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and sister-in-law (Marjorie Britton).

She was preceded in death by two sisters (Lorraine Burns and Dorothy Quain), and one brother (Earl Britton).

There will be no public visitation and a service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will take place in Morningside Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Penn Highlands Hospice, 757 Johnsonburg-St. Marys Road #200, St. Marys, PA 15857, and/or Clearfield Area Agency on Aging, 600 Cooper Road, Curwensville, PA 16833.
